A Stump Isn’t Finished Business
Left in the ground, a stump keeps costing you. It dulls mower blades, trips up kids and guests, and gives carpenter ants and root rot somewhere to start.
Grinding is the clean fix. A cutting wheel works the stump and its surface roots down below grade, so the ground can be levelled and planted over without digging out a root ball or waiting on stump killer to do its slow work.
We grind stumps from the trees we remove and also take on stumps left behind by other crews, including old, diseased, or weathered ones.

How big the stump is and how many need grinding. Larger stumps and multiple stumps change the scope of the job.
Access
An open front yard is quickest. Tight side yards, slopes, and long carries add time.
What’s In The Wood
Buried rock, old fence wire, or fill can slow the grind. Anything hidden gets flagged before we start.
Finish Level
Grinding below grade is included in every quote. Bringing in topsoil is priced separately.

How deep do you grind?

What happens to the wood chips?
We clear them away as part of the job, leaving the area level and ready for topsoil, seed, or sod.
Will it damage my lawn or driveway?
We take care around your lawn, driveway, and walkways while we work. If anything needs fixing after, we make it right.
Do I need to be home?
No. Once a quote’s approved, we can grind the stump and let you know when it’s done. We’re fully insured, so the job can go ahead whether you’re onsite or not.
Can tree removal and stump grinding be quoted together?
Yes, if a tree needs to come down and the stump needs to go too, we’ll price both in one visit.
